Choosing the right visual equipment is essential
Today, around a third of our leisure activities involve the great outdoors, from walking to the more extreme sports. Whilst the general needs of a spectacle wearer can be summarised as protection and correction, how these needs are expressed varies greatly and can depend upon the type of sport or activity involved.
Achieving a perfect swing or an outstanding ace, locating fish at the bottom of the river or avoiding obstacles whilst mountain biking... When practising sport, 80% of the information we collect comes from our eyes.
Many sports require quick reactions which rely on perfect vision, so the right choice of visual equipment is essential. Essilor is well aware of these needs and changing lifestyles and has developed sports sol-utions.
