Varilux Comfort 360° creates an optimal lens by customising the wearer's prescription to the front-surface design – widening vision in every zone.

When a distance prescription is ground on any semi-finished lens, the base curve makes only one "best-form" prescription. Each wearer's prescription is different and will generate unique variations of peripheral aberration. A single traditional design will not compensate for each of these variations.

Varilux Comfort 360° resolves this issue by creating a unique back surface design that widens the fields of vision by up to 30% and provides crisper acuity, right to the edge of the lens.

The original lens design is taken into account, along with the wearer's prescription. Patented software is used to calculate the optimal back surface, and unique manufacturing tools are used to ensure greater flexibility and control during the production process.

The result: maximum visual performance whatever the prescription and frame choice.
