Excellent cosmetic appearance
Every nanometer of the lens surface is controlled to blend three key elements into the lens. Called "Interfaced Aspheric Design", this technology balances astigmatism, distributes power ideally and flattens curvatures at the same time, providing excellent vision clarity with excellent cosmetics
When to use
Short corridor progressive design for:
- Small frames
- Prolonged near-vision use
- Those who want to enhance their near vision (former bifocal or single vision wearers)
Features and Benefits
Ideal power distribution for enhanced near vision
Presio-i's power lines are very flat, providing:
- Wider far and near vision: width of field is enhanced without compromising on the softness of the design. Near vision is 30% wider versus standard PALs.
- Deeper stable near vision: NIKON PRESIO-i 13's near vision is positioned high, providing 85% of the addition at 11mm, close to the physiological ideal.
- Effortless adaptation: uneven power distribution causes "swim" in dynamic vision. With NIKON PRESIO-i, wearers experience no change in power during lateral eye movements; their vision is free from blur, swim and distortion.
Reduced and balanced astigmatism for enhanced peripheral vision
- In order to reduce unwanted astigmatism in the periphery, distortions are redistributed and balanced through aspheric modifications. This gives the patients greater comfort in peripheral and dynamic vision.
Nikon Aspheric design
- Sharper and clearer vision
- Excellent cosmetics: flatter bases, thinner lens with lower magnification
